Sandara joined ABS-CBN's entertainment management called Star Magic in the wake of her success with projects ranging from commercial endorsements to television appearances.And ABS-CBN through the movie outfit, Star Cinema fulfilled her dream to become an actress.

She did a cameo role in a fantasy movie " Volta ", starring AiAi Delas Alas in 2004.
The same year, she starred in her first movie Bcuz Of U, a triology movie. She acted alongside Hero Angeles, Heart Evangelista and Kristine Hermosa. She won " Best New Actress ", her first acting award, in the 21st Philippines Movie Press Club Awards.In December 2004, YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun Suk offered Sandara workshop classes in South Korea after seeing the ABS-CBN Documentary My Name Is Sandara Park, it was also shown in Korea.
In 2005, fresh from the victorious SCQ, Sandara and Hero Angeles launced their first solo movie, "Can This Be Love" which reportedly grossed 100.05 million pesos nationwide. Sandara was also nominated for her " Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in Musical or Comedy " at the 2006 Golden Screen Award.
On March 2005, Sandara went ahead with the workshops putting her career on hold. After six months, she came back to resumed work to continue whatever was left. To her surprise, her schedules was less tight than before. She had very little guesting and only one show which was the ASAP Fanatics.
The " Sandara Fever " was gone. After the release of Hero Angeles from the network, she was partnered with her former SCQ Joseph Bitangcol but was given a cold reception.
Her third movie was "D'Lucky Ones" with Joseph Bitangcol in 2006 didn't even make it in the box office. Their duo could hardly takeoff as a loveteam.In 2006, her fourth and last movie, "Super Noypi" was shown as an official entry into the " 32nd Metro Manila Film Festival "Crowd reception also seemed cold for her comeback. During these times, she was almost nowhere to be seen. In 2007, Sandara left the Philippines. She returned to Seoul, Korea with her family on August 01, 2007. The following day, YG Entertainment announced that Sandara had signed contract with them.
